MOMENT OF CLARITY: After watching Sanchez throw a brain dead interception to a DT at his own 40 with 10 seconds remaining in the half for a free 3 points we knew the season was in serious trouble. But the moment where we knew for certain that the season was headed for our own self inflicted doom was with the Dolphins facing a 3rd and long from near their goalline mid way through the 3rd QT. It was then that we saw the Dolphins run the very same 3rd and long play as the Giants now famous Victor Cruz 99 yard TD. The result for the Dolphins was a 20 yard gain to Bess for a 1st down to begin their go-ahead drive. Lesson not learned. Common theme for the 2011 season, LACK OF AWARENESS: We will go into further details of the Jets offensive ineptitude later this week, but their are no excuses for Sanchez's poor play. His mistakes are killers and he has absolutely no sense of awareness. He even has a knack for finding a way to make a turnover. We know he does not trust his offensive line and is constantly running for his life, but his mistakes would lose a game with any offensive coordinator. Don't get us wrong, we hope Schottey was left behind before the team departed Miami, but we are reaching that point wear we need to find out if Mark Sanchez is the long term QB. NOT SO TONE TIME: A lot will be said about WR Santonio Holmes. Here is our quick take. He simply quit on Schottenheimer, He got paid his cash, named a captain, got angry with the play calling, read the tea leaves, and did everything in his power to ensure the Jets would have a new play caller next year. Bush league stuff. Rex needs to get involved now. Squash it or trade him for 50 cents on the dollar. We all know WR's are divas, and Holmes just needs the ball to make him happy. This can be fixed, but it must be dealt with now.
