CLICK HERE TO LISTEN: In this week’s edition of the Green & White Show with Joseph Haas & Jinx Grand, your hosts discuss the Jets preseason schedule. The team will travel to Detroit in game one, and play the remaining three at MetLife Stadium.  We discuss what the team will plan to accomplish during the 2013 preseason.

The Jets didn’t say much this week, so we moved right into Rumors, Rosters & the Rest.  In this segment, your hosts ponder the delay in the Revis to the Tampa Bay Bucs deal. Reports later in the day have the Bucs OUT on the Revis Island sweepstakes.  Where do the Jets go from here?  We take a look at the pass-catchers for the Green and White.  Should the Jets resign Braylon Edwards?  Will Stephen Hill drop the drops?  Jeff Cumberland’s impact on the offense and Michael Goodsen’s ability to play every down effectively are discussed as well as where Lex Hilliard fits in. (We had some technical difficulties which forced us to cut the above from the final edition, our apologies!)

In the Great Debate, your hosts give their take on coaching techniques in football and other sports.  Perspectives from hockey and football are given as well as takes from current coaches.  Your hosts discuss the positives and negatives of aggressive coaching techniques.  First, we speak with Defensive Coordinator Michael Cooper of Paterson Recreation, and the Paterson Mustangs.  As a coach of athletes 7-14 years old, Coach Cooper gives us perspective on educating and influencing youth through coaching.  Next up, we have Jersey City Jets Head Coach Shawn L. Scott, to give his take on techniques that work with players that are hard to reach, as well as how he manages his staff of coaches.  Both coaches give interesting and detailed narratives on the goals of coaching youth football.

-Joseph Haas,

The Green & White Show is a part of the Fan vs. Fan Radio Network.  Your hosts Joseph Haas and Jinx Grand bring you colorful commentary on the latest news and notes from the team that calls Florham Park its home.  The New York Jets have played a lot of games since Joe Namath guaranteed that victory in Super Bowl III; how many more games will they play before they play in their next one?  We follow the team on their journey for a championship, bringing you a football Sunday feel every Saturday!
