In this week’s edition of the Green & White Show with Joseph Haas & Jinx Grand, your hosts jump right into mini-camp in Jets versus.  We discuss the addition of Kellen Winslow Jr., and how he’ll help the offense in 2013.  Winslow Jr. signs a one-year deal with Gang Green, but has he grown up and moved past the “soldier” comments from long ago or will he continue to be a problem for any locker room?  Santonio Holmes looks like he won’t be back until the start of the season and Stephen Hill is managing that knee injury!  GM John Idzik has his hands full reinforcing the offense, as HC Rex Ryan has his eyes on the defense.

In What Jets Said, Rex Ryan gives us something to talk about after he makes some self-aggrandizing comments in an interview earlier this week.  As usual, Rex reminds us how good the Jets defense is, and how little he’ll have to do with the offense.  Rex Ryan, proving once again he’s the best Head Defensive Coordinator in the NFL.  If we can just remind Rex there are three phases to football and not just one…!  We give our take on Rex’s coaching record and what he’s got to work with in the upcoming season.

In Rumors, Roster & the Rest, we dive into Rex’s double-talk, as he says early in the week that Geno Smith wasn’t “brought here to be a wildcat quarterback” but rumors have the Jets working on a read-option package for Smith.  Geno may have been in the shotgun at West Virginia, but he was far from read-option.  We’re joined by Nolan Hack (@NolanHack) to discuss the positives and negatives of the Jets adding Kellen Winslow, Jr. to the roster.  After all those knee injuries, can K2 still be effective up the middle?  Nolan answers this question and more.  Lauren Beasley (@LBeasley313) joins us for The Rest Report, where she updates us on the other teams in the AFC East.  She gives her take on the Bills, Dolphins & Patriots, plus answers our questions!  We get into the EJ Manuel signing in Buffalo and Tim Tebow signing in New England

In the Great Debate, we discuss the ugly secret of PEDs in the NFL.  Maybe secret no longer, as Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks admits his team “has a drug problem”.  Why is it so taboo to talk NFL and PEDs?  Where’s the uproar?  Where’s popular media?  Where’s the NFL?  If a baseball player had made the same comments… we discuss that quandary and more on this week’s edition of the Green And White Show!  CLICK HERE TO LISTEN and enjoy!!
